Dean Brown is a Navajo silversmith, the nephew of well known Navajo silversmith Kirk Smith. Dean learned the tricks of the trade from his uncle. Dean is known to use turquoise and spiny oyster in his pieces. He stayed true to his roots and has a traditional style, similar to Kirk’s. There is not much published information on Dean’s life. His makers mark is “DB” as seen on the back of the pendant
